New Starters - What to Wear

The is no need to buy Rainbow uniform before your daughter starts.  Please use www.girlguiding.org.uk/shop to buy Rainbow clothes or from the Unit leader - these options are less expensive than other suppliers and our Unit benefits from these purchases too.

What to bring

You will be emailed if Rainbows need to bring anything particular to meeting.  It is helpful it your Rainbow could bring a named drink bottle.

Helping 1st Flackwell Heath Rainbows

At home parents can help their Rainbow by thinking about what the promise means in everyday life; encourage participation in activities; celebrating participation and learning.

On a practical level, Rainbows in run by volunteers and has clear guidelines about adult to child ratios.  Regular Unit Helpers valued by everyone in the unit but simply taking part on the parent rota ensures the safety of all the Rainbows and means that all Rainbows enjoy some adult attention and guidance.  If we do not have parent helpers each week then the meeting will be cancelled so please volunteer if you can.  If you can help support Rainbows please Contact Us.
